International Friendly | Nigeria, Burkina Faso Clash Cancelled

FIFA rules could be a reason for the match cancelation as Nigerians expecting the clash of the Eagles against the Stallions are left in shock.

Burkina Faso played a friendly match against Morocco in Marrakech on Friday, and were scheduled to play the Super Eagles in London on Monday, but that will be in violation of FIFA rules, which frowns on teams playing games in two different continents within the current time frame, as it is required for teams to have at least a two-day rest after travelling to another continent.

Nigeria 1-1 Senegal: Iheanacho Cancels Sow's Goal

Kelechi Iheanacho has now scored 5 goals in his last 6 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria has the Manchester City forward's goal was crucial in forcing a draw with the Teranga Lions of Senegal in London.

The fans didn't really turnout and the biggest name ( Serdio Mane ) expected to be on the pitch didn't come on until the 63rd minute.

Moussa Sow opened the goal drought for the Lions to give them the lead before Iheanacho scored from the penalty spot to earn undefeated Rohr a draw in the 82nd minute.

Black Cats In Need Of Super Eagles Star

David Moyes says the club are in need of Nigeria international Victor Anichebe's services to help avoid the doomed relegation.

The striker has been out nursing an injury which he sustained in January 2017 and he been undergoing his rehabilitation in the United States of America (U.S.A).

"We hope that Victor could be back and maybe Catts (Lee Cattermole)," Moyes told Sunderland Echo.

"I think Catts could get some training in but the one we’re really looking to see if we can get back is Victor.
