Official: NFF Supports Ahmad Ahmad For CAF Presidency

We have been saying it here for weeks that the NFF are throwing their weight behind Ahmad Ahmad to win the CAF presidency against the long serving Isa Hayatou. Now it's as good as official, Ahmad had granted an interview before where he confirmed that he has the support of Nigeria, now it's no more a doubt, it's true Nigeria is going for #TogetherForChange

Rants! There Will Be Another Chris Giwa In 2018 Says Dumnodi Okonta had reported to you few weeks back after Dumnodi Okonta tweeted to FIFA to get ready to ban more people from the NFF after the coming elections in 2018. He tweeted this after Chris Giwa and four others were placed on a worldwide football ban.

It seems like Dumnodi is still on this matter and it seems like a rant after news broke out from the Supreme Court.

FG Should Support Pinnick's CAF Committee Seat Bid - Bio

Former sports minister, Alhaji Ibrahim Bio, believes that Nigeria would be the better for it, if Amaju Pinnick, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) wins the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee seat.

Pinnick will contest against Benin Republic’s Anjorin Moucharafou in the election slated for Addis Ababa on March 16, 2017.

Chris Giwa Protests NFF, FIFA Bans

Yesterday news broke out that FIFA had extended the ban of Chris Giwa to a worldwide ban based of the world governing body's ethics.

Christopher Giwa has protested against the five-year ban placed on him by FIFA due to the leadership tussle in the  Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

However, Giwa said he had yet to get notification of his ban.

The four other officials are Muazu Suleyman, Yahaya Adama, Sani Fema and Johnson Effiong.

Friendly: Super Eagles To Clash With Senegal In March

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has now fixed a date for an international friendly between Nigeria's Super Eagles and Teranga Lions of Senegal.

The match, according the NFF, wil now come up on  Thursday, Twenty- third of March, in London.

Ruth David Jets To Amsterdam For FIFA Female Leadership Development Programme.

NFF Head of Women Football, Ruth David, will on Saturday fly to Amsterdam, for the third and final module of the second edition of FIFA Female Leadership Development Programme.

The FIFA Female Leadership Development Programme, FLDP is part of FIFA’s portfolio of women’s football development programmes for twenty- fifteen/ eighteen.

It is aimed at identifying, supporting and developing strong female leaders in football and also providing opportunities for women to access senior decision –making positions in football.

Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium To Be Fixed Within 7 Days

After an NFF official had decleared the stadium unfit for hosting the CAF African Champions League the Enugu State Commissioner for Sports, Charles Ndukwe, has assured football fans that the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium will be fixed to Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) standard within the next seven days.

Ndukwe gave the assurance when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Friday.

World football ruling body, FIFA, has named the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, into one of its most important committees – the Organising Committee for Competitions. 

Hitherto, the world body had different committees for organization of its several competitions, including the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Confederations Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup, FIFA U20 World Cup, FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, FIFA U17 World Cup, FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may have turned down a request from the Confederation of African Football, CAF to bail it out and host the 2017 edition of the African U-17 Championship.
