Results & highlights of Monday's National Basketball Association games:

Hawks 111, Wizards 101

Dennis Schroder, saddled with three early fouls and held scoreless in the first half, finished with 18 points to help the Atlanta Hawks defeat the Washington Wizards 111-101 on Monday night, evening the first-round Eastern Conference playoff series at two wins apiece.

Schroder scored on two 3-pointers, a jump shot and a driving layup in the final four minutes as the Hawks rebuffed Washington's comeback effort.

Alexis Sanchez scored an extra-time winner to send Arsenal into the FA Cup final with a 2-1 win over Manchester City at Wembley.

The Chilean poked home from close range to put Arsenal ahead for the first time in the match, and they held on as Man City struggled to create the onslaught you would have expected a team heading out of the competition to do.

They had lead through Sergio Aguero, who looked to have overrun the ball when one-one-one with Petr Cech but the goalkeeper was slow to react which allowed Aguero to dink the ball over him and into the net.

City owners were anxious of signing Pep and a salary higher than that of Jose Mourinho was offered. Pep might be biting himself after the defeat by Wenger's men ensured that the Spaniard goes trophyless for the first time in his career.

St Etienne vs Rennes Interrupted After Fans Break Into stadium

Sunday's Ligue 1 game between St Etienne and Stade Rennais was interrupted after local fans managed to get into the stadium where the match was being played behind closed doors.

Referee Ruddy Buquet sent the players to the dressing-room in the 16th minute.

The fans left the stadium quietly after some 15 minutes and the players came back on to the pitch to warm up, with play resuming at 1731 local time (1531 GMT).
