Opeifa Handball Cup 2017 | Full List Of Winners As Arch Deacon Adelaja School Retains Title

The 3rd edition of the Lagos State Secondary Schools Handball Competition tagged 'Opeifa Cup' ended yesterday with cheers, excitements and pain echoed from the winners and loosers. Arch Deacon Adelaja High School retained their title as they won the trophy back to back while Herbert Macaulay Girls School, Herbert Macaulay Boys School, Ayetoro Grammar School and Birrel Avenue High School have all proved to be forces to be reckoned with in Secondary School Handball.

Over 120 Schools Storm Rowe Park As Opeifa Handball Cup Kicks Off

The 3rd edition of the Lagos State Secondary Schools Handball Competition tagged 'Opeifa Cup' began this morning at the popular Rowe Park centre in Yaba, Lagos. The competition was introduced in May 2015 in a bid to use the sport to celebrate the birthday of Mr Kayode Opeifa who was the Commissioner for Transportation Lagos State at that time.

Students from various Secondary Schools from the corners of Lagos gathered with excitement to do battle against each other.
